INQUIRE WITHIN

CHANGEMAKER

It takes insight, innovation, and drive to forge solutions to workforce issues that will benefit workers, businesses, and the economy. In this edition of InquireWithin, meet our choice for Changemaker, retired Rear Adm. Dan Kloeppel. He’s the co-founder of the nonprofit VetJobs, which has placed 63,000 veterans in civilian jobs over the last decade.

The VetJobs process is two-fold. First, help the veteran determine a field of interest and then facilitate guidance to the certification that will help land that job.

Rajiv Chandrasekaran, former Washington Post editor and reporter and now head of policy and strategy for the Emes Project, speaks with Kloeppel on behalf of WorkingNation.
